Troposvue

For MSPs

Every tenant. One clear view.

Troposvue is a self-hosted monitoring and documentation platform that gives MSPs a clear, live view above every client's Microsoft 365 tenant, domain and website, including the gaps most tools miss.

No card needed. Runs on your own server, so your clients' data stays with you.

The dashboard your team opens first thing every morning

Most MSP tools show licences and uptime. Troposvue shows what actually needs attention, live, across every client.

A live view of your whole book

The Command Center shows every client's health at a glance; the Live Alerting Board streams every alert as it happens, built for a second screen or the NOC wall.

Microsoft 365 security

Failed sign-in spikes, sign-ins from unexpected countries, users without MFA, legacy authentication, new admin roles, risky app consents, Defender alerts, Intune compliance and Secure Score, per tenant.

Domains and email security

A health check of every domain against the published standards: SPF (including the 10-lookup limit), DKIM key strength, DMARC, MTA-STS, TLS reporting, DNSSEC, mail server TLS, reverse DNS and spam blocklists, with the fix for each gap.

Websites

Uptime every five minutes, certificate expiry, and a daily health check: HTTPS redirect, HSTS, TLS versions, security headers, cookies and insecure content.

Devices, even without Intune

A lightweight agent reports BitLocker, Defender, firewall, restarts and silent devices, so budget-tier clients get real security visibility too.

Documentation where the alerts are

Per-client docs and MSP-wide playbooks, with runbooks that appear on the alert they're for. No password vault: link out to the one you already use.

A portal and reports your clients will read

Give clients their own sign-in to see their status, open issues and monthly reports, branded with your logo. Monthly QBR-style reports print to PDF in a click.

Quiet when it should be

Thresholds per client, alert types you can switch off, and maintenance windows so planned work doesn't page anyone.

Yours, self-hosted

One instance per MSP on your own server: nightly backups with restore tests and optional encryption, an append-only audit trail of every sign-in and change, and MFA for every staff account.

Up and running in an afternoon

  1. Start a trial. Confirm your email and your key arrives straight away.
  2. Install on your server. One Docker Compose stack: a small Linux VPS is plenty to start.
  3. Add your clients. Domains and websites are checked within minutes; connect Microsoft 365 with one admin-consent link per client.

Simple pricing, per client, not per seat

Larger clients

Each client includes its first 25 licensed Microsoft 365 users. Bigger clients add a small monthly amount:

Only paid licences count. Free licences, including school A1 student licences, never do.

Client portal

Give a client their own sign-in for R99 per client per month. Resell it at your own price.

Questions

Why self-hosted?

Each MSP runs its own Troposvue, isolated from every other MSP. Your clients' security data never sits on a shared platform, which keeps risk contained and makes POPIA conversations simpler.

What do I need to run it?

A Linux server with Docker (2 CPUs and 4 GB of memory is enough to start), a domain name, and an email account for alerts. The install guide walks you through it.

Does it need Intune or Entra ID P1?

No. Secure Score, MFA registration and many sign-in signals work on every Microsoft 365 plan, and the endpoint agent covers devices without Intune. Where a check needs a licence a client doesn't have, Troposvue says so instead of showing a false all-clear.

What happens when the trial ends?

You'll get a reminder before it ends. Afterwards Troposvue shows a warning, then becomes read-only: nothing is deleted, and monitoring carries on, until you choose a plan.

Can my clients see everything?

Only if you switch on their client portal, and then only their own organisation: alerts, reports and the documents you choose to share with them.
